An institution in the Australian beauty industry, Sally Desancic has been in fragrance distribution since the late ‘80s. After years working in management for iconic brands such as Clarins and Givenchy she left to pursue her dream of launching her own brand. That brand was The Bronzer, a simple wash-off tan that was the first of its kind in the market – and is still loved Australia-wide today. She later returned to the industry as the head fragrance, skincare and cosmetic buyer at My Chemist Group before leaving to permanently focus on the rapidly-growing family business.
Since co-founding Ti Cosmetics (now, Core Metrics) in 1997 she has created and successfully launched five brands with over 40 products . Now in her role as Managing Director she uses her 30 plus years of experience to develop new opportunities for Core Metrics, such as brand export and brand acquisitions.
For Sally, working in this beauty is not just a job, but a passion and she is driven by the desire to develop high-quality products at affordable pricing. Her ability to identify new opportunities, and to listen carefully to customer feedback has enabled her to deliver products that the market truly desires.
