Originally founded in 1997, Core Metrics is a proudly Australian, family owned and operated company.

Led by husband and wife team Sally and Ray Desancic, they have over 30 years experience in the beauty and health industry, working for global brands in both the luxury and mass retail sector.

Launching with a single product – the beloved self-tanning range The Bronzer – Core Metrics has since cultivated a loyal following across all of their original, Australian-made brands including The Goat Skincare, Pure Paw Paw, C Lab & Co, The Baby Goat Skincare and The Bronzer.

Driven by an ethos of high-quality, family-friendly, affordable and efficacious skincare, each product is created to fill a need in the market, with both formulation and value for money front of mind. Using the best raw materials that are both natural and – wherever possible – Australian-made, each formula contains no parabens, sulphates or harsh chemicals and are never tested on animals.

Still family run to this day, Sally and Ray are also joined by daughter, Tijana as head of marketing, and staff who are treated as extended family too. Tijana says: “Family is everything to us, which is why transparency and honesty is the guiding light behind our business. We always work to support each other to ensure everyone is happy, comfortable and healthy.”

It is this foundation of support and respect that has made Core Metrics so successful, with the business, the staff and the products all being highly regarded amongst manufacturers, retailers and customers alike.

Today, Core Metrics is a global company with worldwide distribution and an Asia-Pacific office located in China. Market-leaders in Australia, they have nationwide distribution for all their brands, and a devoted following in both retail stores and on social media, which has helped cement the “cult status” of many of their products.

In addition to the locally developed skincare brands they also have a rapidly-growing distribution arm, with six international fragrances currently in their portfolio. With more exciting brands coming into the fold, new product development and much innovation planned, you can expect big things from the Core Metrics team in the years to come.
